Ways to Date During a Pandemic

What is the new normal for dating? With the coronavirus pandemic, the ‘new normal’ for couples is physical separation which can be an enormous challenge because that means no hold hands, hugs and kisses. All of these things can be a strain on your relationship and cause a split. So, take this time to build stronger relationships and keep that spark alive by going on a date (yes, even when you’re not physically together it is possible)!

1. Romantic Dinner

Living in the 21st century? Consider yourself lucky that you’re living in the technology world where you are just a phone call away. Take this opportunity to meet your partner (virtually on Zoom), have a romantic dinner or drink some wine. Have a balcony? Great! Set up your table, incorporate some candles and order the same takeout - VOILA your perfect date night!

IMPORTANT:
Even if it’s over Zoom, you should dress up for date-night at home. After all, we’ve been wearing our pajamas all day and a little dress up goes a long way to boost the confidence. To look sexy yet elegant, you can wear a silk dress and pair it with our NATbyJ First Love 0601 Watch that is simple yet elegant, to remind you of that first date together.

2. Movie Night - Netflix

Watch the same show and chat about your favourite parts! There is nothing better than a Netflix night (movie) in bed with fluffy blankets, hot drinks and snacks! (Don’t forget to hit “Share Screen” on Zoom)

Here’s some of our favorite Netflix movies:

  • Five Feet Apart (For couples who love to cry)
  • The Quiet Place (For couples who need some suspension)
  • A Star is Born (For couples who love sing-along)
